XAT is a national level entrance exam and the conducting body for this exam is XLRI Jamshedpur. The selection

The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is a national-level entrance exam conducted in India by XLRI (Xavier School of Management) on behalf of the Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI). The result is used for admission to various management programs offered by XLRI and other participating institutes.

A safe score in the XAT exam will totally depend on the candidates objective. In the XAT exam, a score of 35 will definitely help you in achieving 95 percentile. Candidates scoring a percentile above 90 can apply to many colleges with AAA+ accredition. Thus, opening numerous gateways for the candidates to pursue MBA/PGDM degrees. Also, even in scenerios where a candidate has achieved 80 percentile, that candidate will also be able to apply to colleges like Goa Institute of Management (GIM) , Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneshwar and many such colleges. XAT is little bit difficult than other MBA entrance exams. Its scoring pattern of +1 mark for each correct answer and -0.25 negative marking makes it difficult to score beyond 35-45 marks.
