Written Test – Most institutes conduct their written tests between November and January. The written tests, inter alia, include the following components of assessment:

Group discussion and interview- These stages are held between February and March for most institutes. GDs and PIs are undertaken to assess the candidate’s personality traits such as Group Behavior, Awareness, Initiative, Confidence, Creativity, to name a few.
An interview can be broadly categorized into Personal Interview and Group Interview. The Personal Interview assesses the candidates’ academics, goals and self-awareness, while the Group Interview assesses the candidate’s analytical ability.

For applying to the course, aspiring candidates need to have a B.E./ B. Tech qualification (10+2+3 pattern) in any discipline from a recognized/ accredited institute, with a minimum aggregate score of 55% (40% for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates). Students who have appeared in their final year examination of a relevant Bachelor’s degree program, and are yet to pass its final year examination, are also welcome to apply, subject to a successful completion of their Bachelor’s degree program/ graduation within a certain time period.
