Please consider the following as my feedback for the time I spent at Tathagat :
Tathagat was instrumental in helping me get to my dream college (IIM Calcutta). Right from the time I joined TG, I got immense support from everyone- something which stayed with me till the end. Be it the super-helpful and talented faculty, or the well-structured study material, or the excellent workshops to brush up various topics- everything contributed a lot in me getting a good percentile.
And the support doesn’t stop there. The GD-PI sessions helped transform me from someone who was terrible at GDs to someone who aced every one of them during the selection process.
Tathagat is probably the best place for every serious CAT/XAT aspirant out there.

I still feel indebted to the college senior who told me about TG while I was preparing for CAT. I was stressed about how I would be able to prepare for CAT along with the demanding office work. But the weekend classes’ schedule suited my weekly routine well. Faculty members of TG are so well versed in their subjects that they have devised their own shortcuts for approaching questions. Also, classes, assignments, discussions and workshops are conducted religiously by TG. The habit of reading The Hindu and a novel every week is something I cherish even now. Post CAT, GD sessions and mock interviews are conducted for everyone and they helped me in more than one ways. After joining IIM Lucknow, while preparing for summers placement, I realised that my GD skills are way better than everyone else’s, only because of TG!

Preparing for CAT is a journey which can transform you as a person. I joined Tathagat last year in June. Having experiences with other coaching institutes, I did not have many expectations apart from getting a good percentile. After a year and a half, I can say that this place has transformed me completely. Tathagat makes sure that you realise your true potential and not only get a good percentile but convert the calls that you have. I wholeheartedly thank Kumar Sir and other teachers who enabled me to convert my dreams.

If I were to credit my success at cracking a top-notch B-school it would only be to Tathagat. The topics were taught in a way for one to understand the logic behind everything and then shortcuts were taught to be able to take the test easily. Every doubt of mine was given so much attention and time that I got my basics thoroughly cleared. The GD/PI sessions helped me find ways to answer any and every question that could be asked. Tathagat helped me not only learn what was to be learnt for CAT but also taught me lessons for the lifetime.

There are simply no words to describe the learning and experience that i had in Tathagat, the fact that it is being spearheaded by the best teacher of India (Kumar Sir) is itself a testimonial for this. Kumar Sir is surely the best verbal and soft skills teacher in India right now as in addition to Verbal. Even Neraj Sir and Rahul Sir are the best teachers of Quant. Tathagat has the potential to create a 100 Percentiler out of an average student. Also, the workshops and the study material provided by TathaGat is unmatched. Overall, Tathagat is the best CAT Preparation institute in India right now as everything that is needed for acing CAT is offered there including emphasis on reading through their book review practice and separate classes for GK.

Joining TG for cat preparation was a great decision for me as it made my journey of preparation more unique and fruitful than I could have asked for. The classroom environment created by the teachers kept me motivated throughout. Something that sets TG apart from other coaching institutes in my opinion is that it helps us look at the bigger picture which ultimately helps in streamlining the preparation and make the students give their best. Rule of reading novels in TG has helped me develop a habit of reading and the concepts of quant developed here I feel will remain with me forever. The teachers I met here have inspired me for life and I can’t thank them enough for the same.

The experience at TG is something that one can’t really put words to. It would be legit to conclude that I came looking for a CAT coaching but on top of that I found guidance and true pioneering. It’s not just a business entity providing services in lieu of monetary benefits, TG is an experience. There have been 2-3 stints in my life that I have cherished and TG is indubitably an important one of them. One witnesses transformation not only in VA, QA, LRDI skills but also in the basic perception of different elements of life. Interactions with teachers such as Gautam Sir, Kamal Sir, Kumar Sir, and Munish Sir leave you with little anecdotes which help you sail all along. It would have been a great regret if TG wasn’t there, though I wouldn’t have known but now that I do, I realize the difference.

I joined Tathagat in August to start my preparation for CAT. While scanning the options before me, I was looking for an institution that could provide me with sufficient personal attention and Tathagat seemed the best option on that front. I was privileged to be guided by the excellent faculty at Tathagat in all three areas – VA, LR-DI and QA. Tathagat’s workshops helped me the most. These workshops were question-intensive and on occasions went on for 8 hours. Lastly, Tathagat was very instrumental in helping me prepare for my interviews post CAT. It helped me gain immense confidence to compete with the best.

TG’s commitment to maximize a student’s CAT scorecard is unprecedented. The numerous classes and no cap on the number of doubt sessions along with the strong intent of the teachers to contribute to your journey, makes the institute your best bet to appear for management related exams.

There is only one way to get into a good B-School: Good old hard work. Tathagat is one such institute whose pedagogy believes in dedication and persistence. The teachers provide us with exhaustive study material and personalized attention which is vital for cracking such exams. I owe my success to Tathagat and encourage every ambitious future manager to join it to know it.

Rarely, if ever, it so happens that doors that have been closed for long, open when you approach them.The very same happened with me. Joining Tathagat would have remained a dream had it not been for the new course that they had introduced.From basic conceptual clarity to a direction in life, the Institute and the teachers here have been life changers for me.I was not allowed to attend the workshops as I had joined late and would always feel I’m losing out on something. But every teacher made sure I got the necessary attention and was never at a disadvantage. With over a 99 percentile in XAT and a 95 percentile in CAT, I had calls from XLRI, L, I, SPJAIN, IITD, IMT to name a few and I converted all of them but SP Jain for which I was waitlisted.
