Alternate approach:

In a regular hexagon with side a, the smaller diagonal is √3a and other one is 2a

Now in this question length AC is a smaller diagonal where a=1

 Therefore AC= √3

and area of sq.= √3*√3=3cm sq

Q. 7.
Out of the six surfaces 4 are rectangular

13 x 20 + 13 x 20 + 20 x 20 + 10 x 20 + 2 x ( area of trapezium )

520 + 600 + 360 = 1480 square units .

Sir, why isn't the answer 10925? I got 10900 and 1/4th of the tile with side 1 would cost Rs 25

Hexagon ABCDEF is inscribed in a circle. The sides AB, CD and EF are each x units in length whereas the sides BC, DE and FA are y units in length. Then the radius of the circle is ?
