IPMAT 2024 IIM Indore: Registration Forms Out, How to Apply

Good news for all the IPMAT 2024 want-to-be candidates. The IPMAT 2024 registration forms are available online on the official website of IIM Indore from February 14, 2024 to March 26, 2024. IIM Indore IPMAT 2024 is the entrance exam for the Five-Year Integrated Program in Management (IPM). It is a unique and innovative program offered by IIM Indore. The IPM aims to develop managerial and leadership skills among young aspirants who have completed their Class 12 or equivalent examination.

Registration Form

The candidates should keep in mind the following points before and while filling out the application form for IPMAT 2024:

• Check the eligibility criteria before filling out the form. 
• While starting to fill out the registration form, use a recommended browser such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, or Microsoft Edge.
• Fill in the mandatory fields marked with * and provide the correct details such as name, date of birth, email ID, phone number, etc. Note that, these cannot be changed once the registration is already complete.
• The official guidelines suggest using the mouse to move between data entry fields instead of the Tab key.
• Rest assured that all documents must be uploaded in the required format and size. 
• Pay the application fee that is non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Confidently ensure that you have checked and double-checked all necessary formatting before submission to avoid any errors.
• Most importantly, take a printout of the filled-in application form for future reference.

IPMAT 2024: Steps To Apply

To apply for IPMAT 2024, you need to follow these steps:

• First, visit the official website of IIM Indore and click on “Register for IPMAT 2024” or just click on the link here. 
• If you are a new user, create a new user profile by filling out the IPMAT 2024 registration form with your details.
• You will receive a username and password on your email ID and phone number. Use them to log in to the admission page and complete the remaining application process.
• If already a registered user, kindly log in with your credentials and move ahead with the application form. 
• Upload the required documents.
• Pay the application fee of Rs 4,130 for the general category and Rs 2,065 for the SC/ST/OBC/PwD category using online methods such as credit card, debit card, internet banking, or UPI.
• Lastly, tap on the “I Agree” checkbox and submit the IPMAT 2024 application form. Take a printout of the filled-in application form for future reference.

Documents Required for Registration

To register for IPMAT 2024, you will need the following documents:

• A scanned copy of your passport-size photograph in JPEG format, with a file size of less than 300 KB.
• A scanned copy of your signature in JPEG format, with a file size of less than 300 KB.
• A soft copy of your category certificate (if applicable) in PDF format, with a file size of less than 300 KB.
• A valid identity proof such as an Aadhaar card, voter card, PAN card, or driving license.
• Your Class 10th and 12th marksheet or equivalent examination certificate.
• Bank details for online payment of the application fee.

IPMAT Registration Fees

The fee includes GST and must be paid online. The applicable methods are credit card, debit card, internet banking, or UPI. Note that, the fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

IPMAT Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for IPMAT 2024 are as follows:

• The candidate must have been born on or after August 1st, 2004. 
• SC, ST, and PwD category candidates born on or after August 1, 1999 will get an age relaxation of 5 years.
• The candidate should have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination in 2022, or 2023 or appearing in 2024.
• The candidate should have scored at least 60% marks in Class 10 and Class 12 or equivalent examinations. SC, ST, and PwD category candidates should have scored at least 55% marks.

Exam Pattern

The IPMAT 2024 exam will be conducted online on May 23, 2024 (afternoon shift). The exam will have three sections: Quantitative Ability (MCQ), Quantitative Ability (SA), and Verbal Ability (MCQ). The exam will have a total of 100 questions and the duration will be 120 minutes. Each question will carry 4 marks and there will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer, except for the Quantitative Ability (SA) section which does not have any negative marking.

Q. Why am I not able to open the official site of IIM Indore for IPMAT registration? 

The registrations for IPMAT 2024 are open on 14 February 2024, that is today. However, the site’s servers are down and will be live maybe in a while.

Yes, the candidates can fill out the IPMAT registration in the multiple-day window. But, make sure to save the changes after filling out every information.

The candidates cannot edit the IPMAT registration form after submitting it. However, once the correction window is open, they can check for any mistakes or edit the application form.
